Question of the Day: One Question a Day, One Class A CE Every Month

Staying sharp doesn’t have to mean blocking out an entire afternoon or a weekend. That’s the whole idea behind our newest feature: Question of the Day.

Every day, Question of the Day gives you one thoughtful anesthesia question inside the Ollivate app. Answer it, see where you landed, and get on with your day. The whole thing takes about a minute. But those minutes add up to something worth having: knowledge that stays current, and for CRNAs, CE that accumulates in the background.

Keeping your knowledge sharp becomes a small daily habit instead of another daunting to-do.

What Is Question of the Day?

Question of the Day is a single, high-quality anesthesia question waiting for you each time you open the Ollivate app.

Anyone can log in and play it. You read the question, choose your answer, and reinforce a concept in about the time it takes to drink your coffee. Some days it’ll be something you know cold. Other days it’ll surface a gap you didn’t realize you had. Either way, you walk away a little sharper than you were a minute ago.

You can also add a note or star a question to revisit later, so the ones that matter to you don’t slip away.

How It Works

The whole idea is simplicity. Here’s the rhythm:

•        One Question. Log in daily and answer the Question of the Day.

•        Build the Habit. Stay consistent, grow your streak, and strengthen your knowledge a little more each day.

•        Earn Class A CE. Complete the daily questions for a full month and earn 1 Class A CE credit.

•        Anytime, Anywhere. Access it on the Ollivate app whenever and wherever you are.

Log in daily. Learn consistently. Earn monthly.

Earn a Class A CE Every Month

Here’s the part that makes the habit pay off, especially for CRNAs.

Every month of Question of the Day is worth one Class A CE credit. Play the daily question consistently, and after a full month of questions, you’ve earned one Class A CE, without carving out any extra time for it. Your daily minute quietly becomes a monthly credit, and those credits add up over the year.

That’s 30 daily questions for 1 Class A CE. No lecture to sit through. No afternoon to block off. Just a minute a day that counts toward your Continued Professional Certification (CPC) requirements.

Anyone can play the daily question. To claim your CE credits, you’ll use your Olli Pro account, where each month’s batch is recorded. As always, confirm current requirements with the NBCRNA.

Rolling Topics That Keep It Fresh

Question of the Day moves through the full breadth of anesthesia knowledge, so it never gets stale.

Each month covers four topics, with roughly one week dedicated to each. One stretch you might be deep in cardiovascular physiology, and a few weeks later you’re working through regional techniques or crisis management. Over time, that rotation keeps the questions varied and helps you touch a wide range of material, exactly the kind of mixed practice that builds durable, flexible knowledge.

Catch Up on 2026: Year-to-Date Questions Are Live

Want to earn some bonus CEs this year? We’ve got you covered.

We’ve released every Question of the Day for 2026, from January 1st through today. That’s 215 questions and counting, all available right now in the Ollivate app. With your Olli Pro account, you can work through the backlog and claim your CEs as you complete each month’s batch, so the credits you missed earlier in the year are still within reach.

Fresh Questions Every Year

This isn’t a one-time drop. Each year, we roll out all-new Question of the Day content, so you can keep learning, keep your streak alive, and keep earning CEs year after year.

Why a Daily Question Actually Works

This isn’t just a convenient gimmick. It’s built on how memory actually works.

Answering a question forces active recall, retrieving information rather than passively rereading it, which is one of the most effective ways to strengthen long-term memory. Do that a little every day, spaced out over time, and you get the compounding benefit of consistent retrieval practice. Add the rotating topics, and you’re also getting the benefits of interleaving, mixing subjects rather than drilling one at a time. The format itself is doing real work, not just filling a streak.

A minute a day doesn’t feel like much. Over a month, and over a year, it adds up to a meaningfully sharper clinician.
