Meet the New Face of Ollivate (Well... Almost)

Okay, we have to be honest with you. This one is a little bittersweet.

Ohvee has been with us from the very beginning. Cheerful, familiar, ours. And we genuinely love what that little mascot represented during the early days of building something we believed in. So before we say anything else, we just want to say: Ohvee, thank you. You got us here.

But here's the thing. We've been asking ourselves a hard question lately.

Is Ohvee really giving best friend energy? Like, your smartest friend in the study group energy? The one you actually want sitting next to you at 2am when you can’t sleep and want to study, who somehow makes pharmacology feel manageable and still makes you laugh?

We weren't totally sure. So we made a call.

A Michigan Partnership We're Really Proud Of

When we decided it was time for a new mascot, we knew we didn't want just anyone. We wanted someone who understood what it means to build a character that people genuinely connect with. Someone who takes that responsibility seriously.

We found that in Mick Harrison Brege, founder of With Love, a fellow Michigan founder who has spent years building character-driven experiences that make people feel seen and less alone. Mick took the time to really understand what Ollivate is, who our users are, and what this mascot needed to do. Then he and his team researched, designed, and animated something we couldn't have dreamed up on our own.

Michigan foundeing teams, all building tech around the belief that the right character can change how someone experiences something hard. It felt like the most natural partnership in the world.

What we asked for. What we got.

The brief was simple: your best friend. The smartest person in the study group. Someone approachable enough to make complex clinical concepts feel less intimidating, and sharp enough that you actually trust what they're telling you.

What Mick and his team came back with completely exceeded everything we imagined. We have been staring at it ever since. We're not exaggerating when we say we think this character has the personality and presence to set a new standard in the edtech space. Move over, Duo.

Why now?

Because everything is growing at once and it felt right.

V2 of Ollivate is in beta. We have opened our doors to RNs for the first time. The tech behind your favorite study tool keeps getting sharper. And as all of that comes together, we wanted a mascot who could grow with it. Someone who could stand confidently in front of nursing students, NARs, CRNA candidates, and every healthcare learner we haven't even reached yet, and feel like he belongs there.

We promise he does.

When do you get to meet him?

We're doing the big reveal at AANA Midyear Assembly in Washington DC next week. If you're there, you'll get to meet him in person first and we really hope you are. If you're not, don't worry. We're releasing everything online as well.

Either way, you won't have to wait much longer.
